Sneak Peek: Monmouth QuiltShow and Miscellaneous Sale this Saturday!

The Monmouth Quilt Show and Miscellaneous Sale is this Saturday, April
26, 9 to 3. The main quilt show event is in the Monmouth Community Church
on Main Street near the railroad tracks.

There is a $1 admission fee.  Enter the building through the side door
off the driveway between the church and the Vestry/used stuff building
and go downstairs.  Downstairs in the Packard Hall are the sale fabric
tables, door prizes, raffles, silent auction (2 quilts made with Downton
Abbey fabrics), and food--bake sale and quiche luncheon.  There are also
6 vendors selling stuff as well as the church ladies.

There are antique quilts as well as recently made quilts on display over
the pews upstairs in the sanctuary.  There is also an incredible display
of vintage wedding dresses near the front of the church--many with photos
of the brides in their dresses.

Across the street at Melledy Hall (owned by the Theatre of Monmouth)
there will be another 15 vendors selling all kinds of items.

This is a beautiful exhibit and a great chance to purchase items at
reasonable prices.  You might even win a door prize or take the top bid
in the silent auction!

Here are a few pictures from both the Quilts andWedding Dresses in the sanctuary and the items in the Packard Center downstairs:
